Riots
« on: August 09, 2011, 12:10:52 PM »
What I have been watching on sky news for the past 3 days has been shocking. These thugs are breaking in to shops, stealing goods and then setting fire to things. How can any one defend these criminals?

Why aren't these riots being crushed by the police as soon as a slight crowd starts trouble? Why aren't water cannons being used to disperse them? Why are innocent people being forced from their homes and estates?

How can people say this is due to a man being shot by police? - a man who in the only picture I have seen of him is of him posing in a gang related pose.

The IPCC is conducting an investigation in to what happened during the shooting incident where a police officer was shot and a member of the public shot and died. Until the results of this INDEPENDENT organisation are released so much as a protest should not have been started! There is no evidence at this time in the public eye other than rumours that something else happened. Even if the story against the police floating around did happen is that a reason to rob and burn down the shop round the corner or set alight the neighbours car.
